Hidden within the city of Leeds is a gem of a venue. Already a successful space for an eclectic programme of events and performances, from 2011 the Howard Assembly Room in Leeds will open its grand doors for special private hire.

Inspiration and creativity fill this original Victorian performance space, which has recently been restored to its former grandeur, with original impressive stained glass windows and barrel vaulted ceiling, regenerated to present a modern and contemporary feel. It is currently programmed and used by the award winning national opera company, Opera North.

Weddings, parties, receptions, corporate events and conferences holding from 30 to 300 people can be accommodated in this flexible space, with tiered retractable seating, an impressive reception or break-out room in the Emerald Grand Hall, wireless, fully staged lighting rig and a professional projection system including cinema sized film screen.
